Amy was raised in California most of her life.  She ha always loved the beach and ocean communities.  She made her way down the coast from Northern California, from Santa Barbara to Los Angeles.  She graduated from UCLA in 1982 with a BA is communications.  She worked in real estate for 10 years until she met her husband and married in 1991 to Paul Chinian, a wonderful, Godly man.  She became a born-again Christian in 1987.  She joined the RLF Church in 1989 where she is an active member.  She has always loved children and has five of her own.  She is very involved in children's ministry and started the evangelistic outreach called "Awanas."  This is her fourth year in this wonderful ministry.
