Pastor Renee Pierson has been a member of the Resurrection Life
Fellowship since 1983. She has served the church in every
capacity imaginable, from cleaning toilets to
ministering to the elderly. She established a lay support group
called "Paths to Health" with the desire to get hurting people
beyond the place of despair. The group was built upon Isaiah
35:3a "Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give
way."
Her heart's desire is to see the people of God (herself
included) walk in true
liberty. In addition, she is an active community volunteer and
conference speaker. Pastor Rene has
worked with the police department and neighborhood groups. One
of her great passions is historic research. Over the last three
years, she has been collecting data reflecting a
portion of the history of Pasadena, California, which has gone
untold. She hopes to create a permanent exhibit of the common people and
the early Christian
community which helped to build the city. Pastor Renee is
convinced
that every believer has
a story worth telling, one which reflects the Lord's divine
intervention and His deep love for those who are His.
She and her husband, Elder Huce Pierson, have raised three
terrific sons and are grandparents to a delightful little boy,
Nasya.
