For nearly 20 years, faithful RLF members have gathered month after month to bring the Gospel of Christ to residents and staff at the Marina Care Center in Culver City, California, affectionately called “the Home.”  The ministry to the Home was among the first outreach ministries organized at RLF and has continued without interruption.  It was in this arena that several who were called to teach and preach honed their skills, sharing the Word of God with the sick, the elderly, and others passing through the Home.  Although we recognize it is a training vehicle for some, what keeps us in service to the Home is our love for God and His people there.

The monthly services at the Home are part of RLF’s missionary focus to take the Good News to all the world, starting with our own backyard.  It is a privilege to minister to the needs of these oft-overlooked widows and orphans; and we delight in the chance to bring comfort, whether it be eternal or temporal.  Most of all, when we bless the elders, we are blessed in return.
